The Parish Council
Newtown parish council comprises five councillors who serve a four year term. Four to six meetings are held each year together with an Annual meeting at which the Chairman, Vice Chairman and any committee members are elected.
The dates of meetings for the coming year are shown on the meetings page. Agendas are posted on the noticeboards and on the website at least three days before each meeting and the venue is Newtown Village hall. Minutes are posted on the website after approval at the following council meeting. The public are invited and welcome to attend all meetings.
